Ultra Electronics, ProLogic is responsible for the development, maintenance, and administration of the web-based Center Initiative Management Tool (CIMTool) for the NASA Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Facility, The CIMTool, used by government and contractor personnel throughout NASA to automate the administration and management of over 180 software engineering research programs, manages the state of research products, provides research knowledge management functions, and serves as a data warehouse for research results. Ultra Electronics, ProLogic engineers based the CIMTool on another Ultra Electronics, ProLogic product, KMSuite, a web-based knowledge management technology developed through NASA and US Army sponsored research and development programs.
